Definitely the 80,s .A. Real melting pot of the tail end of punk then post punk . The peak of ska . The combination of post punk meets New Romantics . Not a fan of the whole new romantics movement though .funk rock which started with funkadelic in the 70’s , lots of bands in late 80’s influenced by that . Musically exciting times

In a world of my own

Got to be 1980’s for me, possibly after ‘84 onwards as the electro groups emerged, Depeche Mode and Pet Shop Boys just galvanised my attention!

Always had and still do, the hits for Dave from DM!

77 onwards, I remember the roasting hot summer of 1977 and the Strang-lers - Peaches playing loud as we sat around in the sunshine.

Met my first love and the undertones- teenage kicks was so true, fantastic times.

Then around 1982 musical taste moved over to Motorhead, Rush, Rainbow, Iron Maiden, status quo and motorcycle era of Yam LC350 & Katana 1100,

70's & 80's were rocking heaven

To be a pedant, ‘76 was the ‘roasting summer’ ‘77 was unsettled!

Do look back with happy memories from the all the eras. Each was special but each had very low depressed moments too.

The 80s would be my favourite though. First boy first girls great dressing times.
