New as I am to the site, I blush to admit that I've only just noticed the existence of 'winks'

What is the correct response to a wink? Wink back, view the winker's profile and fab photos, send a message? And what's the difference between a wink and a "Hi" message?

Advice appreciated - I'd hate to give unintentional offence

I think a wink is just a way to get your attention.

It might range from admiration of your profile, to being too shy to message for fear of rejection.

The choice is yours, whether to respond by message or wink. Or not at all.

Personally I Wink as a way to say Hello I am interested and wait to see if someone winks back. If they do I will start a conversation if not I will leave it there. If someone winks at me I will generally check out there profile and if I think they look ok I will wink back and wait for a response

I always try to reply with either a return wink,or a thank you message. If I particularly like their profile I'll possibly suggest a meeting. A wink is a great ice breaker.

Not aware of any set rules.

Think a wink suggests an interest (if have viewed your profile) more than a fab for instance.

To view their profile seems reasonable. Beyond that how you respond, or if you respond,is up to you. Some response often regarded as better than none.

If someone winks at me I return the wink then it is up to them to take it further, if that is what they intended to do , otherwise I take the wink as a compliment and normally take no further action as they have not bothered to read my profile and what I say about winks. Mx 👿

I always acknowledge a wink. With a thankyou message via their profile. And if I like what I see and read. I will include a question to them.

If they're way out of my area. I will just say thankyou for the wink. As I will assume they liked my photos. As some guys will wink if they appreciate them.

If you like them, but don't want to make the first move by message by messaging, send them a wink. Some people like competence, so always good to make the first move. Don't be shy. Go for it.

I always check out there profile because they obviously liked something about mine.

You can fab there photos but they get deleted after 24h. A wink stays but you never know if they've seen it.

A thank you text either interested or not shows respect.

Remember the person that sent the first wink could just be a bit shy.

One word text are pointless and will get deleted without Evan looking.
