It isn’t an offence is someone is caused offence or distress. After all you can never tell who will be upset by what. The offence is doing it with the intention of causing offence or distress. They have to prove that is why you did it.

Even if yiu knew someone was going to be offended doesn’t make it a crime if you were simply doing it for your own pleasure.

The College of Policing Guidelines on naturism and nudity in public places is very specific.

I’ve just had a thought based upon an experience last year. I ended up exploring a very overgrown footpath that ran near a disused railway line in Suffolk.
