Don't be too concerned about getting the whole fist in. You need to go at it but by bit. Increase your stretch COMFORTABLY over a period of time. Your better off stretching yourself and use breathing control to help you to take bigger.The right lube also helps a lot. Bog standard water based lubes are fine, but will dry out and this can cause pain. Better to go for a hybrid or specialized one.
