So basically what are they actually like, thinking of trying one but looking for more information first.

Also if anyone has any experience with acqua sauna in Blackpool any tips and info of the time u had there?

Once you get over the fear of actually entering the place...you'll be fine

you can be shy..or even hide in a glory hole room if you want to. You can take a dip in the jacuzzi...be wary of wandering hands. Sauna...steam room...or venture into the dark areas. All non pushy.

Their great, the initiial nervousnes od walking theough the door can be crippling but disaapears within minutes. Every one is laid back and there for the same thing. Theres usually dark rooms glory holes, sauna steam room jacuzzi, bar and private rooms.

There grear fun (and incredibly addictive)

I see lots of glasses wearers at the sauna. I think they mostly prop them up on the top of their heads when they're in the steam room, then towel them off when they come out. It doesn't seem to cause them a problem. I can see fairly well, so I leave my glasses in the locker.

Tried to DM you but I'm outside your age range.

Saunas are great. It is what you make it. Haven't been in Blackpool for a couple of years. Used to prefer W3 in Charles St but I heard Acqua has been done up, so may be better now. There is no pressure to do anything you don't want to do. There will be a mixed group of guys in any sauna, 'No thanks' is always an acceptable response if a guy doesn't appeal. Good luck

I was introduced to saunas by a friend. I found that pretty good because I was with someone I was comfortable with and he helped me build confidence. After a few visits with him I was flying solo and we both done our own thing and met up for coffee afterwards

Very nerve reckoning first time but once you go in the door that all changes. Been in one in Germany, first time going. Just browsed around seeing what was going on and ended up having some light fun with what i was comfortable with. Cant wait to go back now

Walking through the front door for the first time is by far the most difficult part, once you get past that it is all great fun. You will pay your fee, be given a towel and a locker key and then you are free to roam and enjoy. You don’t have to do anything you don’t want to, no means no so just be polite and have fun.

I sat outside Northwich sauna for ages before going in, I was very nervous, and the parking is a bloody nightmare lol

It was a great experience in the end, everyone in there I met was nice and friendly, just watched for a while which was a massive turn on then walked through the maze bit and met a gorgeous cd x

Yeah noticed that there's w3 and acqua now it's time to decide which one or probably try both at somepoint see which one I prefer "
Aqua has a good jacuzzi, but not any good cabins.

W3 only has an outdoor hot tub.

Not much good in cold weather.

But, w 3 has plenty of cabins.

Take you pick.

Just keep in mind you don't have to do anything you don't feel comfortable doing. A polite "no thanks" is all it takes. If you're feeling comfortable, it's fine, if you don't, move away. I’ve only ever gone to saunas on my own, and been absolutely fine. And I used to be super shy, ha.

If you go alone, you’ll probably have a chat with some guys in the jacuzzi or whatever anyway, and you’ll feel at home quickly.

There’s generally little need to have someone with you as long as you’re brave enough to go through the front door, really
