I am thinking of replacing all my front tooth with veneers like Hollywood film stars.

I am wondering whether anyone have veneers done on their front tooth and how long do they last? Any bad side effects?

I can 100% recommend - it gave me the confidence to smile.

I spent - oh, I dunno, - maybe £1600 on a set of veneers.

Feeling a million $ with that Colgate smile, went off to Lanzarote, had a night on the vodka and when I woke up several had fallen out.

Went to see the dentist when I returned and she was mortified.

She offered to replace all the veneers with crowns at no extra cost.

That was about 8 years ago and, touch wood, not a problem since.

The current dentist tells me the linespan is normally about 10 years.

Thank you. Very useful information. I think it is better for me not to have veneers or crowns because my front tooth is OK. Saw photos of film stars with beautiful tooth veneers and was tempted. Thank you.

They are the dental equivalent of false nails.

Had my front 2 veneers for many years. Only had to have one replaced as I chipped it

If you don't need them don't get them. Too much hassle

Take a look at composite bonding … it’s much less invasive and has some great results. Maintaining your natural teeth
