Does a face pic help?

When I'm trying to arrange a meet I usually put my face as my profile pic. I've done it now just to demonstrate.

Question is, am I wasting my time or does it help?

Why are people so guarded about showing what they look like? I don't expect to be recognised and if I ever was, I'd be asking them if they like my cock pics?

I expect to see a face pic just prior a meet.

And I reciprocate.

I don't show my face otherwise. I'm Bisexual and most females are put off if they found out their guy is fucking guys too!

So for street cred I try and keep this side of my sexuality private.

Way back when on gaydar.. remember that?.. I did NOT ask for a face pic.. when I opened the door, I wish that I had.. ever since I’ve always asked for a face pic.. well mostly always..

Like a face pic before a meet. Prefer a clothed current photo. Saves the doorstep challenge 🤭

Personally I like to know what the person I’m talking too looks like. For example I find baldness (natural or shaved off) or a really receded hair line a big turn-off.

Sometimes a face pic scares them off!

Just uploaded mine for a limited time.

I usually put my hair in a ponytail for a meet.

But this is me on a daily basis!

Watch'em run for the hills. 😆

As soon as I send a face photo that's normally the last I hear! It used to hurt me but now I just think it's their loss!

Yes, it helps, it is my identity. Even passport, freedom pass etc needs a face photo.

Without a face photo, I don't know who I am talking to and it is pointless to start any communication. Face photo saves time because it helps the person to decide whether he likes the look of me.

Yes I prefer it as I like the intimate stuff and need an attraction.

I couldn't meet a guy just for his cock, and I'm not meeting the " not attracted to guys but love cock" types either

I usually ask for a face pic before meeting and will swap one. If they don't do face pics I like to get a very good idea of who I'm potentially meeting. Oh, and _excess, do you have a free hour any time soon?

I prefer a face pic if we are going to physically meet. Am not playing 'Blind Date'. Think that is only reasonable. If all we are doing is chatting it becomes pointless

You wouldn't talk to someone in the street if you couldn't see their face...it's no different here

That concerned about face pics. I don’t like to give them out though. Don’t want some weirdo doing a reverse image search.!

Anyway, you don’t look at the fireplace when you’re stoking the fire!

Sent a face pic to a guy. Had a meet. Didn't meet again for one reason or another. He sent me a screen shot of my face and then said he would post it and show everyone. Was a bit worrying as im married and not out. So face pics have a bit of a risk and now I'm reluctant to send one.

Anything happened since? Hope not.

I find it ironic that people will send a message reply back with ‘Send face pic’ when

1) they have no face pic on their profile

2) they haven’t sent one

When I reply that they get a face pic when I get one, it goes very quiet 🤦‍♂️

I always ask and swap face pics, and sometimes I’ll publish my face pic on my profile and have noticed a get a lot more messages when it’s public

I’m here to hook up, to give and receive pleasure. I’m not here to find someone to grow old(er) with. Part of the fun is discovering what you look like when we first meet. I neither need your face pic, nor to know your real name and don’t expect you to need mine. If we enjoy each other enough a subsequent encounter will be an option. If we don’t one time will suffice.

I prefer to see a face before a meet, so if chat is going well, I send one.

But if I don't see one, it's not the end of the world. Distance and rapport play a big part on arranging anything.

I get what people are saying about not speaking to people in a bar or on the street if you can't see who they are, but this isn't a bar or a street, it's the Internet, and the days of the Internet being a fairly safe place have gone, imo.

We end up putting a lot of personal information on the Internet, nearly all of which is traceable and compilable, but criminals are also here, as are people who simply hold a grudge over something you typed 6 months ago, scanners, blakk mailers and AI.

So I dont treat the Internet the same as the real world because it isn't.

Yes I would speak to a stranger in the street, but it's very unlikely that in that conversation I'd be comfortable as he joys down where I live, work, who I bank with, what I look like naked and my likes dislikes and past experiences, and then just carry on with my day after our brief chat.

Good point!

I think it’s reasonable to ask to see the face of someone you’re going to invite into your home.

If I’m going one on one I need to have some attraction.

If I’m going to a sauna to suck cocks through a gloryhole it’s not important.

Having a face pic before meeting prevents a lot of potential awkwardness.
