Verifications can be a good indicator of reliability and sometimes what a guy is into. Especially when there's not a lot in someone's profile. I personally won't meet someone who hadn't snybvsrificayionscas I have been messed about by too nsny newbies

I had to ask for one from the first verified person I met, he was one who didn't give or display them generally.

As I explained, if you don't have that green dot on your profile you will be blocked from searches and also possibly from messaging all those members who have set their preferences to exclude unverified users.

I agree that numbers don't mean much, I had several more at one time, from members who have since left the site.

Some guys ask me to verify them but I only verify them if they verify me after a physical meeting, quid pro quo. Guys who don't ask I am fine with too and I don't expect a verification from them, but some are very nice and provide a private memory or two and some I still see to this day. Mx

I usually send a verification, and like to receive them too,its a good indication of what youre looking for,if you're any good and that you genuinely meet,had a meet recently, sent him a veri,which he's got on his profile but didnt get one back😭 lol

Verifications are pure gold on here.

Anyone who has been here more that a few months and has no verifications is a major red flag, not just to me but to many others I've chatted too.

Likewise with people with no pictures.

You can even check with the person making the verification too.

Inviting a stranger you know nothing into your home, or travelling to meet a complete stranger you also know nothing about does not seem very sensible to many of us.

Maybe if you are a martial arts expert, but for a vulnerable older person it's a risk too far.

Exactly this. For me it's a bit like checking out reviews before you buy a product. If people have said it's good I'm more likely to try it.
