"For those who didn't follow the trial, the detective questioning the 'odd couple' put it to one, maybe both of them, that they had spent the night together more than once and there was possibly a little more between them than they were letting on. We now know that they were already suspected of these attacks, so the detective was no doubt winding them up in order to elicit an angry response, which I understand was successful. | |||

For those who didn't follow the trial, the detective questioning the 'odd couple' put it to one, maybe both of them, that they had spent the night together more than once and there was possibly a little more between them than they were letting on.
We now know that they were already suspected of these attacks, so the detective was no doubt winding them up in order to elicit an angry response, which I understand was successful."Hadn't heard that although I have been following the trial. I did hear that they hadn't been friends that many years but since becoming pals they phoned each other most days and frequently texted each other. Also suddenly turned on each other once caught. Something more akin to lovers than genuine friends. | |||
