I've just been looking at profiles and seen one guy with 101 verifications. Just wondered if there were profiles with many more than that?

Also is it a good or bad thing to have a lot of verifications or doesn't really matter.. Just a thought x

That there London mostly.

Done guys are very active on the verifications and sone guys don’t use the function. I have met guys who have sent me a verification almost as soon as I have my boxers back on. I have had guys message irately that I have not verified before I got home.

I also have guys who don’t use the function. I am one of those.

If someone asks I will happily verify them. If they don’t I don’t bother. If someone verifies me I will invariably return the compliment. I don’t post the number or content on my page. I treat it as an extension of the “don’t ask and don’t tell” part of my agreement with my other half that we can okay but we don’t discuss away games.

For those who are very keen to know I have been verified by 24 guys currently on the system in 30 serrated verifications. That will be fewer than 20% of my meets in the 8 years I have been on here I suspect though I have not been keeping count.

I have had some guys complain that I have no verifications despite my profile showing that I have been on this site for more than a year. Some guys implied that that means I’m a time waster. Or even a non-meeting cock tease. If you will only meet somebody who has got published verifications, it is unlikely that we will meet. I will work on the assumption that the loss is not mine.

I have 108 ,many off regular guys and by no means get verified by all I've been with. When go to sex cinema or using the glory holes at Greenhouse , can go with 10+ guys and rarely swap details after so don't see a high number as representative of actual sex meets or a particularly bad thing ,am careful and regularly tested . Just see verified as a a simple initial check that someone isn't going to mess you about( but not infallible !)

I've had 51 verifications and 32 published. I also go cruising after dark looking for outdoor meets so they don't show how active I am

Yes agreed. The verification number on here is not the same as ones “body count” - much as I hate that phrase. We all have other routes to meet guys.

The more relevant statistic to ask is when ones last sexual health check was. 21/05/25 for anyone asking!

It's nice to read verifications and see the compliments on guys profiles but fab isn't the only source to meet guys.

I've gone for months and not met anyone from fab but then met guys from G r for example in the mean time. So just because I might not have any recent verifications on here, doesn't mean I've not had any fun.

Yeah, I get what you're saying.

I suppose its what's the definition of quantity.

Each guy will probably have an idea of how much is enough to satisfy his desires.

You really do have to wonder about someone who is happy to meet somebody else , who has hundreds of verifications.

As far as I’m concerned anyone who publicly shows and describes in great (gory ) detail what they’ve been upto , is a definite no thank you ,

Barge pole situation.

What goes on between two people ( or in some cases ) loads of them , should really stay private.

Seems there’s a lot of fragile egos , who just want people know how great they think they are, albeit delusionally.

Just my observation

I certainly don't think I'm great in any respect, but I'm perfectly happy to share with people what I am and what they can expect from me.

I prefer this site to Grindr precisely because of the verifications. It gives you some confidence that you're dealing with someone who is genuine and will actually meet.

As to the numbers game, I think it's somewhat subjective. If someone has 100+ verifications, does that make them a slut? Maybe; maybe that's how they even describe themselves. It's up to each of us to weigh up the potential risk.

I've met someone who has several hundred verifications and it was a long, sensual, sexy 1 on 1 meet and I thoroughly enjoyed it. His profile shows that he also takes his sexual health seriously, tests regularly and is on prep, so he's doing his utmost to minimise the risks, that also gave me confidence in him. I wasn't as up to speed and testing, etc. then as he was, but I am now and that's largely down to his example.

We're all adults on here and we all make our own choices. If you think someone is making bad choices by showing lots of verifications, then that's your view and you don't have to meet them. It's also clear that some are choosing not to show those verifications; some because they just think it's a matter of privacy and nobody else's business, others possibly to maybe enable engagement with people who might not meet them if the volume was visible. Whatever the rationale, hopefully they're still being responsible with testing, etc.

Enough to show you are for real, maybe a bit of what you are like and that a good time was had.

Not too many that you may look like a walking sti. Those of you that are on prep or get checked regularly don't apply to that last statement obviously.

I don't think you can make judgments based on the number of verifications alone.

e.g if they have 235 and they've been a member for 10 years, that's like 2 meets per month...

But if they've only been a member for a month and have got 235, that's pretty slutty by anybody's standards.

True, that makes sense as he has been a member since 2017. So almost having sex with 29 members per year is not a bad effort on this site.

Good points. Verifications make this site / app different from rest. This site gives you option to mark your foot print and that is a competitive edge. None of the other site does that. Members here always prefer and sometimes even mention that they want to meet people here who are verified. As a basic human nature instinct you only opt for something which is less uncertain.

Either they are dreamers / timewasters

Verifications are meaningless. Few people bother to leave them and yet many people ask for them. They all say the same thing anyway. Trust in the conversation and find validation in their openness.

"Verifications are meaningless. Few people bother to leave them and yet many people ask for them. They all say the same thing anyway. Trust in the conversation and find validation in their openness."

It’s quite a post when every aspect seems totally skewed and addled.

“Verifications are meaningless”… I couldn’t disagree more.

“Few people bother to leave them”… That’s just erroneous nonsense as a browse at profiles at random proves.

“and yet many people ask for them”… Do they? But if few bother to leave them as you claim that doesn’t follow.

“They all say the same thing anyway”… Do you really thinking that?!

“Trust in the conversation”… How utterly naive. People lie on the internet. Never just ‘trust in the conversation’ as the Nigerian prince with $10m will tell you.

“and find validation in their openness”… ?! …. Happy clappy Cloudcuckooland.
