Can anyone help if you sent a message that hasnt been read it stops yellow until it is read. But does it look like its been read the yellow box disapear when the message reaches a long period of time like over 4 weeks old. Please help if anyone knows.

Does it matter? If it's been four weeks then they're either dead or not interested. Time to move on.

The guy at the other end can see what you have wrote. It only becomes a read message when he clicks on it.

If it is short message you may be able to read it without opening it. That said if it is a reply to an existing thread the you can read it all by looking in the sent area and it will still stay unread (yellow highlighted)
