Watched a programme about this a few years ago. Testicle removal rather than full genital removal. Not all the guys were gay or even trying to 'feminise themselves. One guy, a big, burly Canadian policeman, had managed to get his testicles removed but had to have regular testosterone injections in order to get erections and lead a full sex life.

A young lad, a bit effeminate but didn't say he was gay, was obsessed with getting rid of his testicles. Finally got it done--paid for himself and somewhere abroad--but it had a severe affect on his mental health. He became a depressive recluse.

I find the whole thing fascinating and weird. Best left to the realms of fantasy that actually try and get it done.
