No, but it's a perfect time to top up those investments, the majority of countries World wide are increasing arms held and shares continue to rise.

Everyone should invest in "BAE systems", you will make profit and I will make even more profit £££$$$

There are profits to be made in war.

Take advantage and tuck some cash away. Fidelity is a wonderful tool.

We're too small to fight anyone alone, except perhaps Andorra or Vatican City. But pool the military resources of Europe and we're strong enough to deter the Slavs in the East.

It at least needs expanding on.

Why would Russia think it's in a strong place to attack UK?

Most of the world have just witnessed the performance of it's main battle tanks, taken out by hand held weapons.

It's fighting troops are probably weary from the attritional conflict with Ukraine.

I just can't see the timing somehow.

In a world of my own

Governments always have a habit of inflating expectations where defence is concerned, our armed forces have been hollowed out by successive governments of all colours for decades, so it is somewhat disingenuous of labour to crow about their plans. When a government wishes to deflect attention from its problems talk war!

We should retake Calais to control migration from those shores.

Calais was lost to England in 1558. It had been in English hands since 1347, captured by King Edward III during the Hundred Years' War. We need it back now….. and an apology from France for being so naughty.

"Prime minister says we are in a new era of threat.

Are we heading for a full out war? "

The most significant threat to the country at this time comes from within - a government that's clearly failed its people! Removing them from office would negate the threat.

Let's ditch the warmongering rhetoric and focus on fixing the mess they've created at home - from the cost-of-living crisis and massive NHS backlog to social inequality, neglect of the vulnerable and victimisation of the unemployed and pensioners, complete mishandling of the migrant issue, rising anti-social behaviour, and growing social unrest. The handling of key sectors, such as the appalling way farmers have been dealt with, and the ill-conceived inheritance tax policies, only add to the long list of Labour failures!

It's time to address the real issues that are adversely affecting people, rather than perpetuating divisive politics and external threats.

Let the professional UK intelligence forces continue to monitor our national security, while the serious domestic issues are addressed.

The real issues are the ones staring us in the face, demanding urgent action:- the cost-of-living crisis, NHS backlog, environmental disaster, social inequality, neglect of the vulnerable, and growing social unrest.

In just eleven months, Starmer's government has done nothing but exacerbate these problems, leaving a trail of disappointment and regret for those who were conned into the hype and elected him!

Let's focus on the pressing problems that are crippling people's lives today, rather than getting lost in the past.

"

Maybe so but these are the latest NHS England stats which don't exactly look healthy:-

Waiting List Size:- Approximately 7.42 million patients were waiting for treatment as of January 2025.

Waiting Times:- Median waiting time was around 13.8 weeks in January 2025.

Patients Waiting Over 18 Weeks:-About 41.1% of patients were waiting over 18 weeks for treatment as of December 2024.

These figures are subject to change as new data becomes available.

(Source:- The data comes directly from NHS England's website)

The waiting list is dire - but that is what Labour inherited.

They are gradually bringing it down every month.

A huge number of people are signed off work and on an NHS waiting list.

The sooner we get them treated, the sooner they can return to work and the sooner they move off welfare.

And there's more.

Every few weeks or so, the Kremlin will test our air defences.

Nuclear-capable bombers are detected approaching UK air space.

We send up our interceptor jets to protect UK airspace.

The bombers circle on the edge of our airpspace, their bomb doors open.

Our pilots can see their missiles, but do not know if the warheads are real or dummies.

The Russian aircraft will line up against their targets in the UK and approach UK airspace, before veering away at the last minute and closing the bomb doors.

Russia trying to goad UK into a first-strike.

But of course, the real enemy is a few waifs and strays in a dinghy in the English Channel.

Some of whom have been giving a helping hand to get here by the gangsters in the Kremlin.

The attitude that's changed is the "America First" doctrine of the current US president.

Can any country in NATO rely on the US actually using its nuclear weaponry against Russia in the event of a Russian strike?

That's the calculation that Putin will be making - and every leader in Europe, including Mr Starmer, will be making the same calculation, too.

Ahh you mean the Palestinians and Hamas combined as one group on the 7th October 2023

Yes for once I agree

On October 7, 2023, Hamas and several other Palestinian militant groups launched coordinated armed incursions from the Gaza Strip into the Gaza envelope of southern Israel,

Both Hamas and Palestinians are animals slaughtering babies, children and women as they slept.

A very sad day, I have prayed for our Israeli friends and hope they recover well.

I'm glad we both agree

You are more than welcome to pray with me

🙏 "

Yet they aren't combined as one group. Anyone who is able to think rationally and objectively would of course know this.

The hypocrisy re people being killed as they slept is obvious.

Attention seeking?

Now now Angel my love, remember the Lord said turn the other cheek and no not your butt cheek silly goose. Do you think he is happy with over 22,000 children killed by those big narsty bombes .. My African American friend agrees with me you need to buy more Babcock baby doll, he sends love and kisses to you and wishes you a fine day in the sevice of the Lord and if you are ever in the Blue Lagoon chippy to let him know as he is quite literally dying to meet with you. Oh the Bantz .

Who loves ya Bebe... Don't take offence remember it's just Bantz.

Kisses 😘😘😘😘 Mx 🍀

I'm confused.

Is the slaughter the work of the Jewish god, or is the slaughter the work of the Church of Scotland god?

It's a good job we have a surplus of young strong men of fighting age who have come to this country with the intent to integrate and contribute to society and are currently not doing an awful lot.

Apart from the occasional fighting which I presume is some kind of practice?......
