Wolverley & Dudley

just a warning to be safe out there guys & gurls.

over the past 2 weeks I've had a guy messaging & asking to meet.

his profile pics looked decent & exchanged messages almost every day.

the day before our planned meet he posted a cock pic, it wasn't the best quality picture & appeared to have warts all around the base of his cock.

alarm bells were ringing so i messaged him asking if they were warts, he made no secret about it & said yes,

i explained to him that they're from sexual contact & he should get help but he just couldn't see the problem & seemed so arrogant & proud that he he had them & still pestered me to meet him.

he's now on my block list btw, I'm not into naming & shaming but please be safe out there.

I agree. I asked about this at the gum clinic years ago. I don't have any thankfully . They are contagious. Some gum clinics can freeze them off. I wouldn't have sex with anyone with genital warts.

That's my choice but people will care or don't care.

I had them 30+ years ago.... I Had a brilliant Urologist who used vinegar to expose the hidden warts and then lasered them off, never seen one ever again.....

I’m sure something like 85/90% of the adult population has herpes.

You should really tell who he is, there are othèrs out there who may not be as vigilant as you and end getting infected, plus it might shame him into get himself sorted out rather than being proud to gave with no apparent concfor anyone else.

I'd definitely name him.

There was a guy invited me to a group

Afterwards one of his inner circle contacted me n said that the host had contracted an sti at the meet but wasn’t letting people know

Now that’s a rotten so and so

Fortunately I had only contact with the guy decent enough to let me know

I’m clear

So he maybe one of the 50,000 new cases diagnosed in England a year.

Many adults carry the virus. That’s why they are vaccinating children before they are sexually active.

So before you demand he be named - can you show proof you aren’t a carrier?

I have had the vaccine. I don't mind warts but I fear the cancer.

If he has warts he could have other things he's not been tested for.

I get tested every three months Evan if I've not had sex.

Yes! I have always asked with anyone I get personal with! Sure it may be common but I don’t want any of that! You have to be safe and ask questions. People won’t tell unless you ask. I’ll even ask several times. That’s why I don’t really do one night stands. It is just too risky out here.

Thanks Nylons22 for being thoughtful enough to post this. There should be a way of requesting a warning to be posted by admins, without naming and getting your account suspended.

Genital warts can be avoided and even gotten rid of by using hand gel disinfectant on your anal area. Every time you wash your bottom after dumping smear the stuff between your cheeks and push some into your anus.

You really think people on here wouldn’t abuse that?

How are you going to prove what you claim is true? Steal their medical records?

Truth is the majority of adults carry the virus. Genital wart virus isn’t the same virus as causes cancer. There are over 100 types of wart virus.

Genital warts are essentially cosmetic. They look unpleasant. They can cause itching and can block the urethra in rare cases but they won’t kill you.

"Genital warts can be avoided and even gotten rid of by using hand gel disinfectant on your anal area. Every time you wash your bottom after dumping smear the stuff between your cheeks and push some into your anus."

This is completely untrue. You’re more likely to damage the lining of your arse.

A quick google search will tell you this.

Rubbish, I've done it for decades with no negative effects

But it didn’t cure or prevent genital warts

I've seen a few cock pics on profiles here that have genital warts on them.

Years ago sexual health testing was done in person, the nurse would have noticed them and treatment offered.

But now, most testing is done at home via a postal kit, so if the guy doesn't realise/isn't bothered no treatment would be offered.

Similarly I wonder sometimes if the swab tests can innocently be done incorrectly, by someone who has never had it done by a nurse, thus getting a lifetime of false negative results

"Herpes is the bloody worst."

Maybe, but it's not the virus that causes warts, which is HPV, human papilloma virus, of which there are dozens of varieties.

Watford & Worth Matravers

Most people who are sexually active carry the hpv virus which can cause warts. 99% of those people have no symptoms. Warts are easily treated, and can be brought on by so many ways not related to sex. Stress, a cold, a relationship breakup, an injury, can all trigger warts. Warts can appear years after initial contact infection. Accept you probably carry hpv, and if you have visible warts get yourself treated. If you're under 45, get vaccinated - although it's probably too late to prevent you catching it anyway. If a cock or hole took warty its best to avoid. No point shaming someone though considering it's highly likely you're a carrier of hpv virus as well like the vast majority of sexually active people.

I’m sick of numpties posting alleged treatments and claiming they've “done it for years”

I know it’s embarrassing, I accept you may even be scared, but PLEASE go and see a healthcare professional. DO NOT be tempted by the numpties on here, who I suspect are posting with malicious intent.

I thought that but I have a vague recollection of reading about pregnant women being tested?? I could go and educate myself but too lazy 😂

I say educate but if I'm honest I meant go googling 😂 😂
