Tommeh and his goons were asked to leave Hawksmoor restaurant in London's West End as some staff felt uncomfortable.

Just as when he was asked to leave Wingz Kingz, Yaxley-Lennon wasn't able to take it on the chin and has called for a boycott of the restaurant. His disciples have also been asked to leave reviews online. Ironic as he chose to dine there.

Even better Tommeh and his goons had been waiting an hour for their main course before they were asked to depart.

It's hardly unsurprising that some staff felt uneasy bearing in mind Robinson's bigotry.

If Steve had been rude or offensive it would have been reasonable to ask him to leave. However if his only offence was being Steven Yaxley, then no he shouldn't be asked to leave

The Manager's responsibility was to his staff. Their welfare supercedes that of customers. If they felt uncomfortable, they were perfectly within their rights to say so.

The Manager then acted. Admittedly he might have sought advice from someone higher up but he made a brave decision.

Fair play to the fella.

As stated Tommeh couldn't take it on the chin and now the Manager will have to ca'canny so to speak.

I can understand why.

If staff are of an ethnic minority, expecting them to serve someone who campaigns for ethnic cleansing is unreasonable.

Restaurants like that in the West End are just tourist traps. Twenty minutes on the Victoria Line would have him in Green Lanes for a far nicer Turkish meal at half the price.

Whether or not he likes Turkish, or if they would like him, I don't know.

Let restaurants turn away who they want IMO.

If you don't want religious groups of any type, tell them to hoof it.

Same for politicians or media types.

There's plenty of other restaurants, and if the lost customer wants to write a bad review then they are free to do so.

Restaurants exclude people by policy all the time.

You can price out the poor.

I would not dream of going dressed to certain restaurants in Parts of Manchester.

That's the reality.

If you want to ban Starmer or the rest of the Westminster shambles then fine by me.

As a teenage boy, Tommy played football for the local boy’s team.

The coach was a Muslim, and Tommy became friends with him and his son.

They all stayed in touch.

When the coach died a few years ago Tommy went to the funeral, and spent time with the family.

Ask any of them if he’s anti Muslim and they’ll just bloody laugh at you.

It's the way in which his criticism has sown the seeds of division. He's shown no consideration to law abiding muslims who want to practice their religion in a quiet manner.

It used to be radical islam, now it's just islam. Which is an extremely dangerous position for society to find itself in.

Muslims should have the right to practice their religion...

Anti British ? Me ? Haha, no idea where you got that ludicrous idea from.

And full of hate ? Good grief, I have no hate in me at all.

I worked with Muslim men for ten years at Heathrow, never saw them pray, they had sausage rolls from the chuck wagon, and we went out socially where they drank alcohol.

It’s not the people, it’s the bloody awful religion, I can tell you without a shadow of a doubt, that they are just normal everyday people, just like us.

Unfortunately, they are forced into their faith without choice, and the penalty of leaving the faith is death.

I worked in Egypt for four years, and not once did I see a local female, they are not allowed out !

Well yes, unfortunately, religion can produce that unfortunate outcome among some of its adherents

I saw a clip the other day from the post-Southport riots.

A mob of very ugly white men and women, chanting Tommy Tommy Tommy Robinson outside a hotel here in Bristol converted to hostel accommodation for our new arrivals.

Their attempt to storm the building thwarted by thousands of decent Bristol people who formed a human chain around the building.

PC Plod, having been misdirected by their control, turned up on bicycles 15 minutes later.

I don’t care about Tommy’s opinion on other people’s sexuality, Its not important and I know he’s not going to hurt anyone.

However I’m extremely concerned about Islam’s attitude, which is to throw gay people from high buildings.

This really happens.

I have a Muslim friend in Saudi, I go over there every year, he’s a good chum.

He’s straight and absolutely hates Islam’s total disregard and hatred of gay people.

Why anybody on a site like this would think that Islam is a good way to live their life is baffling to me.

You are clearly unable to hold your hands up and admit that the 'I'm here etc' post/photo is homophobic.

And bigoted in the sense it attacks a specific group.

Islams attitude to homosexuality.... Muslims I've spoken to have accepted that the brutality in which gay people have been executed by instrangient regimes was a stain.

My own thinking re their holy book re homosexuality is that it was written a long time ago... obviously.

You don't need to go to Saudi to find Muslims who are tolerant of homosexuality!!

Every one I've ever had anything to do with has 0 problems with homosexuality and most attend a mosque.

They live in our country because they like our way of life. Indeed Islam actually states that if they are not in an Islamic country they follow the laws of the land they inhabit.

An archaic ritual in a different country has nothing to do with Muslims in this country.

Give that Stephen Yaxley-Lennon would like to discriminate against people based on their race, religion, sexual orientation etc he cannot cry foul when some discriminates against him due to his beliefs.

This is the system he wants, he should be congratulating them for treating him how he wants to treat others.

"Just as when he was asked to leave Wingz Kingz, Yaxley-Lennon wasn't able to take it on the chin and has called for a boycott of the restaurant.

Can we have a bigotry example

please ?

...

...

What about the 'I'm here cos my Dads not queer' photo on his feed.

Not religious bigotry per se but theres plenty of that.

Ideals. Lol.

Well, what a ridiculously weak response.

I’ll never waste time waiting for an example of anything racist said by Tommy, it’d be a pointless exercise. "

I used to talk regularly to someone who is a relative and fairly close to Tommy.

He isn't against gay people either, but most people form their opinion from second hand media pieces.

So be it. Not for me to change their view.

I have condemned the Israeli governments overreaction on numerous occasions. Ultimately Hamas created it. They wanted this, knew it would happen. Israel will make sure October 7 NEVER happens again. The innocent population of Gaza are mere pawns in Hamas game. The oppression that will inevitably occur when the dust finally settles shall breed many more 'martyrs' for the Hamas 'cause'. Hamas want the conflict to never end...

Anyway…freedom of speech etc, free to decide who gets fed, who doesn’t…Tommeh? Disappointed in you….lets see some consistency.

And if staff and diners feel uncomfortable in the company of an arch-career criminal/bigot/racist/thug are they not entitled to voice their opinions?

Tommeh's free speech hasn't been stifled. He's on the offensive against Hawksmoor and has released a video in which he sits down for the camera and bleats that he's been discriminated against..

Welcome to the reality you created for yourself Stephen.

Two incidents spring to mind:

First when I was F&B manager in a hotel we had George Galloway staying with us and he upset two young members of the restaurant staff. Rather than cause a scene I took over serving at him table. I was polite but a bit curt with him.

Second I was in an Indian restaurant with s couple of friends late one night. A table of half a dozen d*unken yobs were giving the waiters a hard time. I asked one of these waiters how they put up with such abuse. He smiled and said "We have our ways and means"

It's amazing how many of you lot slag off Tommy Robinson. He isn't out against every foreign person out there he is against those who have come to this country and set up sex trafficking groups etc. even when you look at his supporters it is a mix of people not just white English. He is part of the edl anymore he has done time in prison rightfully and wrongly in some situations.

We all fight for freedom of speech but when someone uses that freedom they are automatically branded as a phobic or a racist. Get a grip.

. .

Has it been argued Tommeh is against 'every foreign person'? Clearly not...

Said gangs included characters born and bred in England.

Indeed, the former BNP member is no longer part of the outfit that wanted to 'burn the mosques' (EDL)...

He's been branded homophobic and racist because...

He's made homophobic and racist statements....

I did not ask 'Gorgeous George' [More like ugly, diminutive goblin] to leave my restaurant. I simply took over as he had reduced a very young waiter to tears [not sure what he said] and a normally easy-going waitress refused point-blank to go to his table again. I could have confronted him and made a fuss but I decided against causing a scene that might have upset other diners.

With freedom of speech comes freedom of labour, if someone who opposed your culture, race and very existence in the country you settled in and are contributing to through your taxes then you should have the free right to deny them your labour, skills, experience.

Tommeh has turned his attention to Maccy-d's in another one of his vids that proclaim the imminent collapse of society. Feral yoof on the rampage. They all happened to be black.

Does he ever post videos in which feral white yoofs run amok? Clearly they do yet Tommeh doesn't illuminate said characters as part of his freedom-fighting.

I am probably the only member of this site who is not fully up-to-date on the whereabouts, movement, speeches or thoughts of Mr Robinson/Yaxley-Lennon. However I do know that it was an Hawksmoor Steakhouse and not a Jalalabad Curry House from where one would expect him to be a little unwelcome. I also understand that one of his party was a Mr Singh Kalirai [good old Anglo-Saxon name there ] who was the one who brought the incident to the media's attention. I also believe they had already been served with their starters before being asked to leave. If other diners had made a fuss I could understand the management asking the party to leave. Unless they had been rude or in any way offensive to the staff it was not really their place to insist upon this expulsion.

I mentioned the scruffy little poundshop socialist because he had upset two members of staff but not other diners. However two elderly diners did have a bit of a grumble about him being there afterwards. Perhaps they had witnessed his rudeness to my staff or perhaps they were terrible tories

Maybe the Hawksmoor and its sensitive staff just aren't keen on working-class clientele frequenting their esteemed establishment?

It might have caused alarm and distress to the front-of-house team when one of Mr Robinson's group buttered a bread roll with the steak knife ....and then asked in a distinctly un-Cosmopolitan accent if they could have some HP sauce.

Are working class people dining out in Air Street Eateries? Not that they shouldn't but the prices point to it being a middle class affair and then some...

It always makes me smirk when people point out his name isn't Tommy Robinson. It's as if they feel they have some power over him.

No one ever says Elton John, real name Reginald Kenneth Dwight. Or Pink, real name Alecia Beth Moore.

It's the name he chooses to go by so should be accepted at that. Imagine doing it to a trans person. Kath, real name Robert Brown.
