However I’m extremely concerned about Islam’s attitude, which is to throw gay people from high buildings. This really happens. I have a Muslim friend in Saudi, I go over there every year, he’s a good chum. He’s straight and absolutely hates Islam’s total disregard and hatred of gay people. "I am probably the only member of this site who is not fully up-to-date on the whereabouts, movement, speeches or thoughts of Mr Robinson/Yaxley-Lennon. However I do know that it was an Hawksmoor Steakhouse and not a Jalalabad Curry House from where one would expect him to be a little unwelcome. I also understand that one of his party was a Mr Singh Kalirai [good old Anglo-Saxon name there ] who was the one who brought the incident to the media's attention. I also believe they had already been served with their starters before being asked to leave. If other diners had made a fuss I could understand the management asking the party to leave. Unless they had been rude or in any way offensive to the staff it was not really their place to insist upon this expulsion.

I know you didn't ask the suave socialist to decamp yet the Manager/CEO (quite possibly) also put the welfare of their staff/colleagues first and foremost. In both instances there was no shutting up and getting on with it... Do we need a sliding scale of hurty?
I am probably the only member of this site who is not fully up-to-date on the whereabouts, movement, speeches or thoughts of Mr Robinson/Yaxley-Lennon. However I do know that it was an Hawksmoor Steakhouse and not a Jalalabad Curry House from where one would expect him to be a little unwelcome. I also understand that one of his party was a Mr Singh Kalirai [good old Anglo-Saxon name there ] who was the one who brought the incident to the media's attention. I also believe they had already been served with their starters before being asked to leave. If other diners had made a fuss I could understand the management asking the party to leave. Unless they had been rude or in any way offensive to the staff it was not really their place to insist upon this expulsion.
I mentioned the scruffy little poundshop socialist because he had upset two members of staff but not other diners. However two elderly diners did have a bit of a grumble about him being there afterwards.
