Why is anyone trying to police or adjudicate the language other people use? That’s never a good thing.

The OP has made his distaste known as is his right. He won’t be using them or won’t be keen when someone else uses them to him.

Slut has been used for 600 years. Of course it is “outdated” in that regard. A great many of the words we use are outdated… but if people continue to use them because they understand them and choose them… What’s the problem..?

Whore - from hore is Old English and its original meaning was indeed to describe unfavourably a woman. It has been used much more widely in more recent times to describe men as well as women. It’s simply a derogatory more than misogynistic term. Of course it’s vulgar. It’s supposed to be.

Slut - from slutte in Middle English and again originally applied to women, again used in recent times for both men and women, and again was coined to be derogatory and vulgar.

Slag - has Germanic origin and is the same etymology as the technical slag ie the refuse of smelting. Was applied derogatorily to anyone of low status, repute, worth in its initial application. So not specifically misogynistic. Just deliberately vulgar.

Cumdump is obviously a neologism and is activity specific without the sexual gender specified. It’s a deliberately transactional word to describe a sexual act without attachment or intimacy. That’s the whole point.

I do dislike them a lot. I've told guys who call me a 'slut' online that it takes one to know one, which usually takes them aback! But they are based on the tired 'double standard'.

More importantly, guys who just come out with them reveal - to me - a mindset that is potentially dominating and likes putting others down.

All that said, I can understand why some dont mind or even like them. If you enjoy being physically and mentally dominated then this is just some extra spice for that. It's ok we dont all see this the same way - but it is good to understand and tolerate others choices.
