How is everyone coping with this heat and has if affected how you skeep or wear in bed.

Me personally I always sleep naked. But because of this heat I'm either sleeping with no quilt or just under a top sheet.

I'm currently in Turkey and I slept like a baby last night even though the temperature was topping 20 degrees plus.

In the UK the humidity makes lower temps feel more oppressive and i don't sleep well at all

I don't like the heat, I go to bed feeling hot and flustered and wake up same,if it's hot on Holi abroad it's not to bad as its a dryer heat but usually have Aircon running which helps

At first I thought I was being judged.

I’d used and prefer to sleep naked but our dog now sleeps in the bed, and it’s not the done thing.

Use a duvet cover with no duvet in, have a ceiling fan, windows open.

Limit the bedroom for sleeping.

If it’s really hot and I’m fortunate I can nap during the day and work at night.

I had aircon installed when I had solar panels and battery installed. The aircon is powered from the solar panels during the day and the solar charged battery at night so I don’t pay for the electricity that powers the aircon.

My head hits the pillow, the next thing is the alarm is going off.

I rarely have problems getting sleep, if I’m still awake within two minutes of getting into bed I do some meditation or slow my breathing. It must work as agin the next thing is the alarm going off.

Really do recommend an air con unit in the bedroom. Decent ones are around 800 quid, not cheap; but I promise you, it’s worth the investment just to have a decent nights sleep

Should be cooling down a bit soon so hopefully we can all sleep a bit better
