I’ve recently started to suffer from this, some days good other days bad… I read that it’s an age thing and possibly result of hearing damage (I been a jobbing musician on and off all my adult life)

I’ve tried a few things but can’t say anything works long term

Any advice ?

Cheers guys…

I suffered from this for years...two things really helped me.

Have some music or other sound playing even if you never listen to it...

And try to ignore it as much as possible...it's like a dripping tap you never hear, until the night you do...then it seems to get louder and loader, until you need to get out of bed and try and stop it

Hi ,, I have suffered from this for over 15 years, I reported it to my go, who in turn got me an appointment to see the hearing specialist at the local hospital, they tested my hearing and eventually I got some hearing aids that counteract the problem,,,

Mine started with Vertigo, vestibular migraine, ( no headaches)

Tested and found mild hearing loss and given two hearing aids. Very rare I get tinnitus but if I do it lasts for about 30 seconds. Also told to take B2 (Riboflavin) and CQ10 tablets each day

Cranial osteopathy cured my tinnitus over 20 years ago. Never had it since. Alexander Technique would also deal with it.

Had it permanently in one ear since 1993. Also totally deaf in that ear now. Get it occasionally in the other but fortunately, so far, only lasts a few hours. Was also diagnosed with Meniere's Syndrome in 2008. It's something you live with and get used to. No cure but GP prescribed medication helps
