My Dr has prescribed me on a daily dose of Cialis as a BP med and it's worked .

Bp down from high to even around 118/70 which is excellent. Mild headache for a few hours but clears.

Although I don't have ED it also enhances my sexual prowess, and raises my EGRFR which is good.

Anyone else on this? I'd be interested in your views on how you get on with it.

These effects on the nation's collective cocks is a side effect.

Same as viagra. That was a blood pressure medication. They noticed the side effect in clinical trials.

Yeah I'm currently on Tadalafil dailies at 2.5 mg I think.

Seen some definite improvement but not fully reliable erections just yet.

I had to stop half way through sex with the wife yesterday as the little fella didn't want to play.

I'll get there

"Same as viagra. That was a blood pressure medication. They noticed the side effect in clinical trials. "

While Viagra does lower blood pressure, it's not a safe or effective choice for routine blood pressure management due to its potential to cause dangerous drops in blood pressure, particularly when combined with other medications or in individuals with certain health conditions.

"EGFR

It means kidney function?"

It's the estimated glomerular filtration rate. Mine fluctuates but is in the safe range.

If you eat too much red meat or processed then the creatinine levels rise and this rise is used to estimate GFR. In the kidneys

Well said. Tadalafil is used to treat erectile dysfunction and the symptoms of benign prostatic hyperplasia which include difficulty urinating, painful urination, and urinary frequency and urgency in adult men. Also Tadalafil is used to improve the ability to exercise in people with pulmonary arterial hypertension.

Very true. Try to reduce high intake of protein.

Yes, high protein intake can affect glomerular filtration rate (GFR), particularly in individuals with pre-existing kidney conditions. While healthy individuals may experience a temporary increase in GFR with higher protein intake, individuals with chronic kidney disease (CKD) may experience a worsening of their kidney function due to increased strain on the kidneys.
