I have just been blocked by a guy. Apparently I was always meeting a guy whenever he contacted me for a meet. Then said what I was looking for, was not on my profile, which it clearly is. Is it my fault the prick can't read 🤷‍♂️

People mis read things. It's not always straight-forward. I was misinterpreted as being sarcastic (when I was actually being genuine and considerate) and blocked. Which is a shame but we have to get over these things.

If someone blocked you just because what you are looking for is not written in your profile must be irrational and doesn't add up. If he wants to know, he can always ask. No one can write everything there.

I think there are other reasons the other person is not saying. Perhaps he doesn't want to hurt you.

Anyway whatever it is, everyone is beautiful in their own way. Some sees it, some don't. One day someone will see how wonderful you are and love you. I wish you happiness.

Lots of factors involved- some people don't read things properly, some people are not what others are looking for, some people are too x/y/z.. I think the clue is don't take anything personally and move on!

If I read a profile and it's not compatible with me I'll block it, saves me from accidentally clicking on it again. I'll also block a profile if we chat and it just fizzles out. I use it to my advantage, not to upset anyone, it's not personal, just a tool to be used exactly however each individual sees fit to use it.

Had a guy who let me down, I didn't report him & he blocked me after I offered him a second chance.

But told him that if he let me down again, that's it.

I'm actually loathe to block anyone and generally I don't.

But this week, a guy who had ghosted me after id travelled to Notts on the train,then been abusive when I called him out contacted me again!!

I couldn't believe it, what a knob

So I arranged a meet with him again and didn't turn up!

Told him it's a good idea to remember who you ghost and abuse online, left a few choice words and blocked him.

I am on one guys block list as my sense of humour was written between the lines and in a witty way. Unfortunately he didn’t grasp the innuendo and therefore didn’t understand the humour… instantly blocked with no recourse to explain the statement.

People who can’t string a sentence together - I’m not doing all the chat, chats are reciprocal.

People who don’t share the same interests as me, who say stupid things in the forum, who have poor interior design choices….could be anything really.

I blocked a guy last week because he messaged me 29 times I said I wasn't interested.

He then messaged me calling me a timewaster for not meeting him....

Then called me fat and said he wouldn't want me anyway
