Who will be watching englands women tomorrow ?

I for one think women’s soccer has come on in leaps and bounds. And it is the national team.

I cant seem to get into it, quality is about the same as Sunday league level at best. Though it is the national team. So should get behind them , praise rather then criticise

100% not, woman’s football is an appalling standard, remember a Wrexham senior men’s team beat the USA woman’s World Cup team 12 nil !

Really looking forward to it , I did think France would win the tournament , now any one of the 4 left could win it , all about skill and luck on the day ,

I'm looking forward to the winning team playing a boy's under 14 team and getting beat 7-1 by the boys.

"Do they play for less time like the lady tennis players?"

Nobody knows; nobody has ever managed to stay awake that long, while watching.

"Do they play for less time like the lady tennis players?"

No , they play 45 minutes each way , my criticism is that if a game is a draw an extra 30 minutes extra time is added , , with the players seeming exhausted , I have noticed the same in the men's game with teams basically hanging on for penalties, I think after 90 minutes it should go straight to penalties , this was particularly noticeable in FA Youth Cup games I saw this season where a lot of the Extra time comprised of players getting cramp therefore extending the game longer

I think thats a good shout, extra should be scrapped in all forms. 90 mins is long enough to determine which team is best.

Clearly you missed Berger's save this week. Arguably one of the greatest saves of all time

It is a different game, but the grit, determination, heart, soul, and shear athleticism shown is a phenomenon. Plus Italian people are dirty cheats. They paid the price. Good luck Liverpool.

I find it more entertaining than men's football.

There is more passion and desire to get the ball up front. They're not afraid to tackle and don't roll around when tackled like they're on some war film.

My only complaint is they don't swap shirts at full time like men do

I find the biggest gap from the men to be the keepers. Seen some people float the idea of slightly smaller goals, but honestly I like that there's a few more long shot goals.

No ,but they should ,or reduce the size of the pitched .

The last 10 mins are tedious

It's a great watch, free of the crap in the men's game... diving, protesting, histrionics, and full of drama.

I enjoy the women’s game but I cannot agree it is free of diving, protesting and histrionics.

It may be less polluted by that stuff, but there is plenty of it on show. 😆

There is basic physiology in the difference between keepers in the men’s and women’s game. Not just height, although that is very important these days, but jumping and springiness is simply different in men and women, and football goalkeepers is a place where that is laid bare, much more so than outfielders, rugby, hockey etc.

But as you say, for some it creates an enjoyable different dynamic to the women’s game which is worthy in itself.

It's good and less breaks for dives, abusing ref etc. Less drama queen's for sure.

England has not performed to a high standard. They will need to step up or accept that Spain are a higher seeded and better team right now.

England's consistency for several years has been impressive. I fear the manager will be poached shortly.
