Unless you live in the outer hebrides or some remote wilderness, some form of public transport or taxis exists. Or get a pushbike / scooter / walk.

Not saying that it applies to all of them but in some cases they may be primary carers, so can’t accommodate, and may only be able to get out for a very short amount of time so unless they were very local it would not be possible to travel i.e. if someone comes in for an hours relief that wouldn’t allow much time.

I had a guy message me with exactly this on his profile. When I ask about it he said he lives with his parents and only has a bike, but he can’t cycle too far as it tires him out! You couldn’t make it up

Posted about this before. I know someone who can't accom as he lives with his elderly parents. He can't travel, even though he drives, his parents would be wondering why he was going out late at night in the car, as they live in a bungalow and the car is parked right outside of their bedroom window so that would disturb them.

He arranges outdoor meets as local to him there is a park/wooded area where he meets for fun as its only a 5 min walk away.

So sometimes some people genuinely can't accommodate or travel.
