Llandrindod Wells

I think so but keep a fairly open mind on the subject. Used to run a pub parts of which dated back to the 16th century. Often heard footsteps upstairs when there was no one there. On one occasion it sounded as if furniture was being dragged around in my private sitting room. When I went to investigate everything was in its correct place. On three occasions I thought I saw an elderly lady lurking in an upstairs corridor. And no I hadn't been drinking. Preferred to sell it than consume it myself.

London

I once stayed in a gay hotel in Thailand alone. Worried someone might enter my room at night, I blocked my room-door with a table.

I then moved a table lamp from my bed and placed on the table. I thought if someone enter my room door, the table lamp will fall on the floor and break and that would wake me up and alert me of an intrusion.

But, when I woke up the next morning, the table lamp was not on the table but have been moved back to my bed side. Till today I dont understand how the table lamp moved back from the table back to my bed side.

I asked a witch-doctor or shaman who told me that the ghost spirit in my room was not happy of me moving his table lamp round the room. I dont believe in superstitions, ghosts and the supernatural world but how to reconcile with the ghostly experience in my room.

We’ve got a house in Jordan, and the house keeper asked if we were back as one of the lights was on.

We said no, and she went in to turn the lights off but when she got to the room, it was already turned off. Then when she came back out and locked the door and the gate, the light in that room was on again.

That was pretty weird

No.

Its a mix of psychological, cultural, and neurological reasons.

Science hasn’t found concrete evidence of spirits, but the belief persists and has across millenia and societies...

I think its hardwired that we think like that... its a defence mechaniam like pareidolia.

Just a deeply human—rooted way in which we think, feel, and cnect with things we cant explain.

Last week I had a dream, my late mother and father were very upset, my mother was in tears, I looked at her and she told me my auntie had died. The next morning I heard that my aunty had died early that same morning. No ghosts but weird

I have another about a person crossing the road in front of my car but I've told that one before and one story is enough

Im an atheist and just don't believe in spirits or such like

However there have been weird, shall we say experiences.

When my Mum passed away, we moved into her house as it was a wonderful home.

She had a sewing room upstairs and multiple times we have heard creaks and things rolling from the room below it.

I share her sensitive side and definitely feel good and bad "vibes" from certain buildings or areas, like the Peak District for example. Why? Who knows but I know it's not the supernatural or spirits etc.

And don't get me started on psychics

Bargoed

Not me but my parents have. They live in a bungalow and when in bed with the door open they can see down the hallway, past the bathroom and into the kitchen. They have heard someone in the kitchen as though they are making a cup of tea and then there is a smell of toast. They have seen what looks like an elderly woman walk down the hall and into the bathroom. Things in kitchen cupboards have moved or disappeared only to return the following day.

Before they moved into the bungalow they used to live on a narrow boat. They had a few over the years but the first one was quite small and when they were in bed both my parents woke to a noise and saw what looked like monks floating above the bed. They hadn't had the boat long and were still in contact with the previous owner. My mum messaged her and asked if she had ever seen anything strange on board, being very vague and the woman replied, "oh don't worry about the monks, they are harmless'.
