One would have hoped so, but circumstances can differ. Supermarket self-service checkout with cash payment in a different town seems as anonymous as anything could be if that’s the issue. As a top who can usually accommodate I always have a supply of condoms and lube. Very occasionally the bottom will be kind enough to bring a couple but I usually use mine anyway (after thanking him for being thoughtful) because they're more comfortable and easy to put on.

The sexual health clinic always offer whenever been for test or vaccination. Haven't had the need to buy any just lube. Although last time I was given small packets of lube too for the first time

To be honest, as a bottom you should be thinking about your own safety and health so should always have them in. Some tops just assume that it's your responsibility - you'd be silly not to really. The fact they ask to check is a good sign.
