As Rupert 'urgently chased' dinghies that turned out to be four men in a solitary boat raising money for Motor Neurone Disease...

Mass Deportations were also called for.

Should he be recalled for gross hurty stupidity?

Not based on what I think, based on a well studied understanding of what fascism actually is. Calling these people fascists is just shouting so called received wisdom, it's classic dog whistle politics, crass virtue signalling. So acting like that makes you a bleating sheep just following the crowd for approval, which makes you an idiot.

Apart from the fact that these cretins are behaving exactly like fascists all did before getting into power?

Remember Hitler didn’t start at Nuremberg with great flags and baying crowds.

He started in the pubs and in the newspapers undermining the state and undermining multicultural Germany and turning people against certain groups to bring him relevance.

He did so just after a Great Recession and when people felt poor and put upon by their government and by outsiders.

The echos are clear and obvious.

I adore the confidence you pull out the “you need to educate yourself” card before absolutely missing the point.

I’m going to defer to my grandfather who grew up in Germany in the 20s and 30s before an enforced emigration to England at gunpoint in the early to mid 1940s.

Having been in the Hitler Youth and a Luftwaffe pilot before becoming a POW, he always reminded us “they called themselves socialists, they dealt with the difficult part in the name, they were fascists in every part of their being, everyone knew that then and everyone knows that now”

It’s easy 100 years later to split semantic hairs to try to feel better about what’s happening now; head in the sand is a very good analogy.

But, and please listen to this if you truly believe the Nazis were not fascist, please, please stop telling other people they need to learn more and start taking your own advice.

Wonderful.

Here we are again, the old playbook:

The right: “In gonna set up 5 camps next week to store (insert random ethnic group here) in.

The left: “i think it would be better if we used more precise language thank you very much”

Apologists for the right: “They aren’t camps because technically they are more like hostels”

The Right: “10 more the following week whilst everyone else is distracted bickering over semantics, fantastic”

Beware anyone using the Nazis were National Socialists nonsense. My cats are dogs

Fascists never refer themselves to what they are. Lowe is moving from refugees to trans people on Twitter. I guarantee within the next six months they will all turn on gay couples adopting. Then it will be a return to Section 28 desire. They're already looking at dismantling marriage rights for same sex couples.

Perhaps they have. Always seemed like chalk and cheese. In 2019 Starmer became the 'acceptable' face of Labour whereas people distrusted Corbyn, disliked McDonnell and thought Dianne Abbott a joke.

Parties do move on and do change though some of you can never see that where the Conservative Party is concerned. Interesting too that Rupert Lowe, despite his recent faux pas, has moved on from the Fagagista Reform.

Again you need to study properly and carefully Hitler was a National Socialist not a Fascist, they're very different and when you study these regimes you see the differences.

Here’s what AI suggests:

“ Fascism and totalitarianism overlap, but they aren’t identical — one is a specific political ideology, and the other is a broader form of governance.

1. Fascism

• Nature: A specific ideology that arose in the early 20th century (Mussolini’s Italy, Hitler’s Germany).

• Core beliefs:

• Ultra-nationalism (glorifying the nation or race above all else)

• Dictatorship with a cult of personality

• Militarism and expansionism

• Suppression of political opposition and individual rights

• Often tied to myths of national rebirth and unity

• Economic model: Private property and business allowed, but controlled to serve state goals (corporatist economy).

2. Totalitarianism

• Nature: A type of political system, not an ideology.

• Definition: A government that seeks total control over every aspect of life — political, social, economic, cultural, even personal beliefs.

• Key features:

• One-party state, no political pluralism

• Centralized control over media, education, and public discourse

• Heavy use of propaganda and surveillance

• Little or no personal freedom

• Can be based on different ideologies: Fascism, communism (e.g., Stalin’s USSR), theocracy (e.g., Taliban), etc.”

No it's not. Also Brexit (remember that fucking nonsense) took us out of the Dublin Agreement and the process of safe and vetted access. The Tories deliberately didn't seek similar arrangements as shouting a desperate people was, salt, a vote winner. People who think crossing the English Channel is some kind of cake walk is ludicrous. It's one of the most dangerous crossings you could have. And in a dinghy for Christ's sake.

I’m in the middle of the ‘sex with’ Venn diagram with men in one circle and women in the other. Mathematical sex? It just don’t add up.

Try living on the edge of the locus of the bisector of intersecting lines. "

I’m quite bisector and like intersecting too.

"Btw Rupert Lowe is a divvy. 🤪"

If a divvy something members used to get from Co-op membership before loyalty cards? Would have thought Mr Lowe would have been more of a Harrods or Fortnum & Masons type of guy.

"He's a repugnant wanker. Can we not start deporting these hideous fascist grifters? Him, Farage, Tice.

If you think they're fascists then you're an idiot

Say that to my face. Demonising asylum seekers, people of colour, gay people, trans people, supporting abortion removal. Fascism writ large. The idiot in the room is you."

And when he realised his mistake, he put his hands up and made a hefty donation to the charity that the guys were rowing for.

That's an easy trick to do if you have lots of money to begin with. And an insincere apology. If he hasn't been caught out he would been laughing about it down at the pub now. Hes probably laughing at how gullible people are.

For a man if his wealth, £1000 is hardly a hefty donation. Small change for his backers who are buying 'politicians'

He spaffed some spare change at the common people to keep them quiet and make them think he isn’t a nasty horrible little bigot but a man of the people,

Not the multi millionnaire financier that he is desperately trying to distract us from so he can change all the rules to make him and his friends even richer.

Berwick upon Tweed/East lothian/Edinburgh

Its time for vigilante action like this as the government is useless. Its only by people taking their own action that we will get our country back.

Look on the positive side. At least he was in his constituency to obverse this non-event. There could have been a whole armada of small boats heading for the shore in Clacton, but St Nige wouldn't have been there. Too busy waffling on a TV channel or sunbathing on the patio of his grand London mansion.

A mansion, it is alleged by several newspapers, that is rented at 14,000 per month and paid for by a billionaire.

If the small boat people arrived in Clacton they would take one look at how bad it is there and head back to Calais.

Farage has done nothing for the Clactonites so far.

"You're getting totalitarianism based on racial politics mixed up with fascism, not the same thing at all."

Which of the two is better for us, or is this just pure pedantry?
