Where have all the parties gone?

For as long as I can remember the 4 spring/summer Bank Holidays were the 4 big gay party weekends of the year.

As well as club nights, there were always lots of 'clothing options house parties' if you get my drift....

Where have they all gone!? I'll host my own so it doesn't matter but this gay tradition seems to have dissappeared...

One problem with organising then hosting a party is us. You advertise, get lots of guys say they're coming then most of those " yes men " don't bother turning up.

Yeah that always been a problem.

But Im referring more to the significance of the 4 bank holidays in the spring/summer starting with Easter.

It used to be wild, partying every night, and then alnighters on Sunday through to Monday.

Times change I guess - just not sure when it changed

I am sure there will be some parties about this weekend , it is Manchester and Southampton prides. Think of all the clubs that have closed down recently. Even established promoters don't get the numbers in like they used to. If you are new it is a big risk money wise as there are massive overheads even before you start, then it is all down to ticket sales.

Yeah there just doesn't seem the buzz about it like there was.

Guys just meet now rather than needing an excuse to meet I guess!.
