I'm not much of a consumer, but if I did feel like watching I'd probably do the age verification, or simply just use the VPN I already subscribe to.

I don't believe it's anything to be fearful of but I'm sure there'll be plenty who think otherwise. In any case, we've all been verified by Fabguys already.

I've never been a conspiracy theorist but this comes on the back of news that certain coucils/police forces will be using cams with face recognition tech to capture crims.

What better way to get a library of faces...?

Doesn't bother me as im not a crim or ashamed but makes me wonder.

The above doesn't include the dozens of instances of email addresses being harvested.
