Good question. I was a late bloomer and some meets I've gone ahead with even though I wasn't fully into it. One in particular, from another site, wasn't a great experience and probably the only meet I wouldn't do again. I travelled to an island off the Scottish coast to meet him and he made me food and gave a driving tour 1st. Even if it's awkward we should be able to decline at any time.

I often meet guys socially before anything else and find that more often than not I don't really want to move to the physical side afterwards. When you're in someone's house, or they're in yours, you perhaps go along with things you wouldn't otherwise.

If they cross the line I tell them, then again I haven't had to very often I tend to out the ones on hook up sites that have stuff on their profiles that may be a red flag, things like a liking for rough sex etc. Most of what I've experienced have been minor, things like getting a bit over enthusiastic and trying to make me gag or getting a bit carried away and not bothering with a condom.
