A couple of years ago some friends and I hired a barge for the weekend. One night we moored opposite an old wharf.

Around 5:30 pm cars started to turn up and park in the car park. They were all men, non of them dog walkers.

Most just sat in their cars looking over at each other. Two guys stood on the bridge chatting, but nothing else went on.

I'm not into cruising and I don't plan to start but is this it?

Depends on the location, some of the more woodland based cruising sites are very active during daylight hours. When car parks are involved you do tend to get a lot of guys who just sit in their cars and don’t seem to get that the fun happens when you get out of the car.

Been to a couple of sites, not fancied the others there so stayed in my car.

Some are looking for tops, some looking for bottoms, some for tvs, if they are regulars then they probably knew each other and just compared notes.
