You don’t need to put an apostrophe before the s for a plural.

Only for possessive singular nouns.

Thank me later.

Save other people time by (if your name is Peter or Timothy, for example) insisting that they call you Pete or Tim. Respectively.

If you have a carpet, always only stand on it with one foot so that you don’t wear it out and it will last twice as long.

But won’t your shoe wear out twice as fast?

Obviously, you conduct a cost/benefit analysis first!! Shoes/carpet. Socks don’t count cos they come at Christmas for free. Although you do have to offset the cost of your pressie back - but if you stick to a fiver (as I have done since 2017) you should be quids in.

Controversial this one... but you could always alternate between the left and the right foot, unless of course you only have one leg

… but you can after the s for a possessive plural such as animals’ or horses’, but not children’s because children is already a plural form.

I use a lot of TLA's in which case I think it is acceptable so as to make it clear it's not an FLA.

And an S at the end of a FLA would make an FLA.
