Anyone else experienced this? Apparently normal and usually fixes itself. But bloody (no pun) scary when it happens and you’re not middle of some vampire porn shoot…

Maybe due to inflammation, infection, or recent medical procedures.

Better see a doctor to exclude prostate problems, sexually transmitted infections (STIs), blood disorders, or, rarely, cancer.

Yes - almost word for word what NHS site says. Seems to have cleared now, but still baffling. Many thanks

Yep, earlier this year for a few months. Came and went (no pun intended) but after the third episode got it checked out by a urologist, with an interesting aside of having some guy ultrasound my balls 😳

Anyway, urologist guy said that in 90+ % of cases they never find a cause and sent me off with a two week course of antibiotics.

Been free of it now for a few months but aware that it may re-occur.

It can look very dramatic to begin with and put me off meeting for a while as I'd expect bloody spunk all over the place could be a bit off-putting..

I experienced flecks of blood in the sperm for a couple of days. It appeared coagulated as it wasn't mixing with the fluid as such. The Internet gave me no definitive cause....after a couple of ejaculations that was it, nothing more.

Wait until you need to have a prostate biopsy.

The first few ejaculations afterwards are horrendous …… then it’s six to eight weeks before it’s totally clear

Yup…. been there, done that. You are warned to expect it and it soon clears though.

Happened to me, too, recently; scary but GP found no problem or infection. Apparently just happens.

Happened to me twice. First time I went to the doc who reassured me. I held off from self abuse for a week and all was good. Second time I just paused for a few days. No issues. This was a few years apart.

Like you, it frightened the life out of me, saw a urologist, had mri scan, ultra sound. Never really got to the bottom of it. But i had been working hard and got a little dehygrated. The consultant said it was calcification of the prostrate. It remained discolour then i had a chest infection and was given antibiotics. Oddly enough that cleared it up. Until again i was working hard in the gaden and got alittle dehygrated again, and it stated again. Shortly after i got stung and it got in my blood stream and had to go to A&E for a massive injection of Antibiotics and again it cleared my spunk to a nice white again???? Who knows!

It happened toe ages ago. Any blood in piss and/or cum is taken seriously, as the many causes include prostate swelling and/or cancer, as well as bladder cancer. Get it checked out ASAP by your GP. You are likely to be sent for a cystoscopy (BBC camera crew and all their equipment slid up your cock). It should not hurt. Get it done, it takes minutes to rule bladder cancer out, and to identify infections.
