duck duck go and opera are worth a look. they claim privacy by default. You can choose settings to auto wipe cookies and auto-fill at the end of a session.

Opera also have a built in VPN.

Just a quick note about the Opera Browser VPN. It only provides VPN for the Opra browser - it will not provide VPN facilities for anything else on your phone or computer.

Private browsers work like ordinary browsers from what you see, however when you close the browser session it clears out the history of the sites you have visited, it also clears cookies and cached data and temporary files. May also log you out of any sites you are logged into.
