This comes across as performative virtue signalling. If they were genuinely interested in promoting gay issues then why arn’t they hiring an openly gay player or at least making it easier for a player to come out.
This panders to stereotypes and says yes we support gays as long as you stick to your lane and are effeminate and play with the girls. | |||
