I’ve started to think about this now we’re almost in September. Bracing walks along the coast then home to cosy up with candles and throws. I don’t have an open fire or woodburner, but there are scented candles from Skandinavisk and Penhaligons evoking the autumn and colder months.

Have to admit I like summer and it being so hot that naked is the only way, but hygge is comforting as well.

Not quite yet.

When the season properly changes yes, a blanket, candles, soft lighting, comforting food.

I've got a wood burner in my other van. Hopefully it gets its MOT on Monday, I look forward to dim red lights, the wood burner, and two selfish tops taking turns to fuck me.

Log cabin, wood-burning stove, sheepskin rug on the floor, cinnamon buns in the oven, two muscle-bears wearing nothing but thick woolly socks.

Come on in, take off those wet clothes and warm up beside the fire.

Would perhaps be nice if I had someone to cuddle up to or a fireplace. Otherwise it is just curtains drawn early, lights on and expensive central heating on when it gets too cold.

Offshore now, ignore pistcode

It’s winter down here. Been drizzling all day and grey skies. Eleven degrees so stayed in all day with gentle themes from Radio 3 proms playing.. Loaded the log burner with gum tree I stacked last summer. Got my scandi glassware candles burning and picking at some cheese and crackers with an Otago red before bed.

Good night all

Yes. Cuddled up in bed with my cats and hot water bottle. A proper fireplace would be pretty damn amazing though!
