Measure your hips?

Quick size guide for men and knickers:

If you're really skinny you might get away with size 8-10

Relatively slim size 10-12

A bit of middle aged spread think between 12 and 16

If you're a fat bastard going to seed, definitely 16 and above but most likely 20 and above

14-16 works for me

Since discovering Vinted I'm acquiring more designer brands because well, they're affordable. They do seem on the whole to be better made, nicer fabrics, and fit and last better than the cheap supermarket ones.

Particularly fond of Elle, Miskie and Skims as well as the traditional M&S etc. Will probably get some VS and Agent Provocateur at some point too.

I can understand selling secondhand outerclothes if they want to keep up with fashion or change a size, but why all the new lingerie? Are they all on the rob from the high street shops or what?

I've had some great bargains on Vinted, Ann Summers sets for less than half price. Got a bra, suspenders and knickers for less than £15. The knickers had been worn so she couldn't list them but was happy to include them in the sale

What I've noticed is that a lot of the lingerie arrives smelling of fresh laundry detergent/conditioner, so I suspect many aren't quite as new as they're listed. Which is absolutely fine by me! I even had a.nice follow-up conversation with one lady seller about which products she used because her panties smelled so nice

Some of it is so overpoweringly scented, it's offputting. It might be used and freshened, but could also have been damaged stock, from fire or damp or something, that's been given a blast of something to cover up bad odours. There's things I've bought off eBay where I've had to wash them before wearing because they've had such a powerful perfumey smell.

That said, I love ordering random cheap things from strange places, especially in China, and seeing what turns up. A cheap way of getting mail!
