How do some of you manage your shaving bumps. Sometimes I get them after I shave. People say waxing is better, what are your thoughts?

Waxing does produce a smoother, longerlasting result. Virgin blades, a good shaving foam and moisturiser helps keeps the bumps at bay, or at leat has done for me.

Once dry apply an ingrown hair solution with a cotton pad, that does the job.

I get a wax and that works for me.

If you still want to shave make sure you exfoliate the pubic area with some Dead Sea salt, the bumps that you refer to are probably in growing hairs and the exfoliation will help release them.

Prep your razor:

-Ensure it's clean and sharp for a comfortable shave.

Shave with the grain:

- Always shave in the direction of hair growth to minimise irritation and ingrown hairs.

Work in sections:

- Shave small areas (a few inches at a time) for better control and to avoid missing spots.

Let the shave soap work:

- Apply shave soap, let it sit for about a minute to soften hairs. You can wet your skin before applying soap for better lather and comfort.

Stay gentle:

-Take your time for a smooth, irritation-free shave.

Keep at it and don’t use an old blade. I used to get bumps when I first shaved but not any more.
