Sometimes get quite friendly messages, often intent on a meet. Quite reasonably, I reply it would be good to see some pictures. At which point, the chat from the other end stops. Absolute blankness can't really be said to be at all appealing.

Is there actually any empirical evidence that people join this site to “collect” poor quality, blurry, disembodied cock pictures… or is this one of the new urban myths used to solace oneself when another user asks for pictures but ultimately thinks your physiognomy is yucky and doesn’t take it further..?

I find a huge number on here seem incapable of stringing a sentence together. One word exclamations or at best... 'do ya wanna f@ck?' Quite often from blank profiles or profiles just recently made! Has the use of texting on smart phones really killed the art of conversation? The level of grudeness on here has really peaked recently!

I just delete such bad messages...

Some people might have blank profiles because they struggle to express themselves in words or aren't sure what they're looking for on the site. They might be testing the waters or just need time to figure things out. Lack of confidence can also play a role. It's fairly normal for people to take their time getting comfortable online.

but my text profile is not blank, I don't collect pics, and as I'm usually the giver not the taker, pics are usually irrelevant as the main view they'd get is the top of my head!
