Depends on what you want to achieve, but you need to understand what VPN does and how it does it.

If you want to use your laptop while away on public Wi-Fi connections then it is a good idea especially if you want to do online banking as your traffic will be going through an encrypted tunnel making it a lot harder to impossible for people to intercept your traffic and details.

If you want to use geofenced services such as BBC iPlayer (or similar services) from abroad, then again yes (providing your VPN has an access point in the UK).

It's also possible that some here aren't used to watching pron unchecked. Like me.

Not an expert in any way.

VPN's can allow you to browse unchecked through a UK site but you browse "anonymously " through a site from somewhere else in the world.

Seems to work for me, just login, connect and browse.

VPN works for me. Difficulty sometimes on Fguys not always syncing, just keep refreshing & if eventually connects ok. Good on other sites but uploading pics on here is nigh impossible due to the jpeg being renamed into an erroneous file name extension.
