What is the best UK gay destination? Gay villages have really changed for the worse. But Blackpool seems like a sleazy gay paradise to me now. Seems to be so many bars, sauna and sleazy hotels now.

Its nowhere near like it used to be. The place used to be jumping 25 years ago, with a lot more places to go. Now its a shit pit.

Stick with Manchester, London and Brighton

Blackpool probably still best for some cheap fun. Like most of our seaside towns past its best, so don't go expecting Mykonos or Key West. The problem with many of the gay villages is they are filled with straight people with made-up sexual identities. Too many 'non-binary pan-sexuals' or straight 'queer allies'.
