"Errr...no. There's some real issue about £800M in his dealings with some housing building company...amongst other things. Wouldn't trust him." Let's see if he wants to structurally change the market with corporate taxation and renter friendly regulation , or is he just pushing for more govt money pumped into housing.

"He's done quite a bit of flip-flopping over the Brexit/EU discussion. Which indicates - whichever side of that divide you're on - that he's yet another one who senses which way the wind is blowing, then elbows his way to the front of the crowd and shouts "Follow Me". " Or could it be that he listens to new information and changes his stance in the light of what he has heard?

"No, definitely not, after he stood for the leadership and was defeated instead of fighting Jezza, he left parliament to step on the gravy train at Manchester, as did Tristan Hunt, he stepped away for a good fix at the V and A. A plague on all their houses " I quite liked Hunt. My mum lives in what was his constituency and he seemed to doing a fairly decent job but as a passionate historian, that V & A gig couldn't have been a more perfect opportunity for him and I believe they approached him with it. I wouldn't judge him too harshly for taking it. Indeed, I don't blame him one bit.

"He is not a democratic, he has said he would like to rejoin the EU, despite the majority of Britons electing to leave. Speaks Volumes.I hope he stays in Manchester they're welcome to hom" Saying he would LIKE to rejoin the EU is not undemocratic!

"Man who thinks charging £12.50 a day will magically clean the air. Thankfully the public backlash meant it was never seen through. Cut from the same cloth as Brown etc, would tip your Grandmother upside down to get 10 pence out of her pocket." ... .. That'll be Gordon Brown who raised working class people out of poverty... But. . but Gold.

"He is not a democratic, he has said he would like to rejoin the EU, despite the majority of Britons electing to leave. Speaks Volumes.I hope he stays in Manchester they're welcome to hom" Scotland and Northern Ireland voted stay, two of the four constituent Countries of the UK, in any other Country, ie one that wasn't as massively corrupt as the UK that would have blocked leaving.

"Circa 49% wanted to remain. It was hardly a crushing victory. Democracy is not just about the views of the winning side." Sounds better in numbers, just over 1,200,000.

But. . but Gold." Gordon Brown is widely despised by working class and left leaning people here in Scotland, he strongly backed the Tories in the 2014 independence referendum, to suck up to his beloved Royals and Establishment, not to mention he is a War Criminal. I went to a party in George Square in Glasgow to celebrate Thatcher's demise, I'll be doing the same for Brown, even if I'm the only one there.

"Lots of lovely responses from the Highland Brigade, might have expected that, after all, they don't like referendums unless they win them. Move along please" ... .. Your grasp of geography is poor. You also overlook the significant support for independence that exists in Scotland. The democratic mandate for a second referendum was of course ignored by Johnson. Move along? That's a tad undemocratic surely?
