I like holdups. Good quality ones in a large size work for me (I'm only 5'8" but that still qualifies as large in women's sizing), pay a couple of quid more and the elasticated bits last better.

Can't be arsed with suspenders and my waist-to-hip ratio doesn't work with them (fat bastard with a small bum basically)
