My first 'formal' partner many centuries ago was pretty much my 'ideal': taller, solidly built verging on the stout, hairy, strong; determined, audacious, etc., but with a markedly violent and vindictive streak😒. Fast forward: my current partner of 27 years now is the polar opposite in many aspects. My fwb is somewhat half-way between the two. 🤷🏽‍♂️

How about the rest of the brotherhood here?

Went out for a few drinks with friends got chatting to a lovely lady despite her being 13 years older than me we found we had a lot in common.2 years later we married.

We were together for 16 wonderful years it's a bit on off at the moment but we have a teenage daughter which can create a lot of stress so we put on a United front for that.

But probably not expected but no regrets.
