She ordered every Church of England Vicar's to give out Terry's chocolate orange segment in Communion this week instead of bread.

I suppose there’s an outside chance this one might believe in the teachings of the Church of which she’s supposed to be the head.

After the woolly-faced and woolly-minded ArchDruid and then the petulant, hand-wringing, social-worker prat, it’s difficult to get any worse.

Great if you like chocolate and citrus. For me it’s a pass on both. They give reactive migraine citrus and chocolate both cause, apart from blinding headache, stomach cramps and vomiting. I’ll stick to wafer ( bread ) and wine. Amazingly red wine never causes me migraine and I don’t suffer hangovers win win.

Excellent news. Was hoping she would get the top job. Best candidate. Ironically the other 'candidates' were 'a load of old women' despite their male names

She’s going to have to or she will have no clergy left.

An Archbishopess surely?

They look exactly like the last one, but with the addition of a Peter Noon wig

Such cynicism. Maybe a woman in charge is just what the CoE needs.

Who knows, she might even approach the job in a calm and professional manner?

I wonder if this one will say that the church is racist, and/or cover up child abuse too?

"I wonder if we will ever get a female Pope."

We have had one.

A chair was designed and inspections carried to avoid it happening again.

All quiet embarrassing I imagine.

Actually Wales was the pioneer. The disestablished Anglican 'Church in Wales' elected a lady archbishop earlier this year. Plus a lesbian with a LTP/Wife as well. Raised a few eyebrows amongst the traditionalist. I wish them both well and hope they can stem the decline of their churches

I think we need to avoid more female exceptionalism. All the evidence is that in power women are as corrupt and self serving as men.

But if you go to communion and get the Terry’s chocolate orange, you could projectile vomit onto the Archbishop. It could be like a scene from The Pope’s Exorcist. That will show her mettle.

That’s why he never seemed to lose weight even being chained to that radiator for 5 years.

He was only chained to the radiator to stop him from raiding the fridge during their calls to prayer

"I wonder if we will ever get a female Pope."

Well (it is up for debate) but there MAY have been one already - Pope Joan - although there Catholic Church deny it, and as it was supposed th have happened in the Middle Ages it is hard to verify as it seems manuscripts have had bits cut out of them https://www.new.ox.ac.uk/sites/default/files/6NCN6%20(2015)%20Poole%20on%20Female%20Pope.pdf

Yeah, she definitely needs to sort her Barnet out. A dollop of lippy wouldn't go amiss either.
