Later life circumcision

Hey all,

Has anyone had a circumcision in later life (I'm in my 50s).

I'm considering it but I want to hear others experiences about the pain, time to heal, time before sex and sex experiences after getting it done. Is the sex better now?

Thanks.

I can't offer any opinion on the 'post op transition' as I was barely conscious at eight days of age when I had mine. All i can say is that it's very low maintenance in terms of hygiene and what I've read form other similar threads is that sensitivity is heightened for post-circ'd guys. Hope it all goes well , and many of us we expect a full report....with pics!

After 48 years of wearing a foreskin I’m not sure I could cope with the old chap rubbing against my undercrackers all day.

I was done in my 40's because they made a mess of it when a baby. The after effects are not that painfull and can be rather exquisite because of the sensitivity. I think I had sex about two weeks after and really enjoyed it, and yes sex is much better now.

Mine was done in my mid thirties. For the first few days it felt tender rather than painful but I kept myself dosed with paracetamol for a week. The stitches were soluble and had gone after about 10 days which made it feel much better. On advice from the doctor I abstained from sex, including wanking for about 6 weeks but the first wank was amazing! As my cock has never really been used for sex I can’t really comment beyond saying that my helmet is a bit less sensitive than it was previously.

I unfortunately suffer from a tight foreskin and I'm pretty sure I would be able to have the procedure now. It's been a non issue for nearly 30 years with the wife and about 20 years of averaging a 3 way with her and a lot of different ladies but in the last few years of meeting guys, although no one has complained I have seen the odd profile saying that they won't meet people with this problem. I'm very OCD with hygiene and I can pull my foreskin back when I'm soft and semi and I've always paid particular attention to making sure I'm fresh and clean if I'm meeting someone or not. Unfortunately once I have hard on I can't do this. If I wasn't meeting guys without the wives knowledge or I was single I would definitely have the procedure. Also apparently circumcision reduces the crazy sensitivity there so I imagine it would be good for my staying power but not so much with the feeling. I can expose my bell end just not fully. Also I can't deny being able to fully expose the tip of a rock hard cock is definitely more visually pleasing.

Had mine at 48, very little pain. just once got morning wood and pulled on sitches quickly subsided, dissolvable sitches, had 1st careful wank 3 weeks after operation. Need more lube (baby oil) with it wanking or sex.
