Discussed too many times on this sex site.

You'll get the anti Israel and the Pro Israel members on here sticking to their views.

So no point really. Let's deal with this country.

Students from the Uk are guaranteed a place at Uni here. Provided they get the grades.

It's a war between the descendants of Shem, hence both Jews and Arabs are Semites.

It's been going on for thousands of years, none of them can hold any moral high ground.

Any propaganda from other side is just pure power play and both sides will use you for their own ends.

There is a view that if you dont discuss it then the problem goes away. Opinions are like arseholes because we all have one and not sure the politicians take much heed of a fab forum and we cannot change anything but it's fun to discuss in my humble opinion. Lots of different opinions help the critical thinker. If an thread is not for me I stay away from it. I do wonder why the press and TV dont care a shit about war in Sudan though. The Palestine thing does get boring after a while

I always wonder on the motive of those reports always highlighting the suffering of children deliberately designed to pull on the heartstrings. A local beggar told me that when he does not have his dog with him then his donations drop. Highlighting collateral damage to children and hospitals is TV ratings click bait. I dont care if they are 10, 50 or 100. A life is a life whatever the age. Why is it different because they are children.

Today's child can be tomorrow's bad person. Fact.

Interestingly, a significant portion of your wealth originates from their nation. Consider the mullahs and the Taliban; Western countries prefer their presence as it simplifies the extraction of oil, gas, and other natural resources. Engaging with them is more cost-effective, allowing them to maintain their grip on power. Meanwhile, the local populace suffers, risking their lives to escape and ultimately facing derogatory labels upon arrival here. It raises the question: who is truly the villain in this scenario?

No it wasn’t, there were sectarian wars and feuds for centuries all across the region.

We absolutely have responsibility for our actions in creating the structure of this specific mess, but we don’t have responsibility for people in the Middle East choosing war.

"Both !!!"

The only way to have any chance of a lasting peace is to split the land equally in half. 50% for the Israelis and 50% for the Palestinians for their own autonomous independent state. Nothing less seems fair.

Unfortunately this goes against the principal tenet of the Zionists, the idea of giving up any land at all has always been the stumbling block that has caused the failure of all previous peace negotiations.

So yes, both, as an ideal but sadly unachievable dream.

Not such a backward country. What have you contributed to the world??

Israel's global contributions include major innovations in technology, such as Waze, the Disk-on-Key, and cybersecurity; significant advancements in water management and agriculture, like drip irrigation and water-saving technologies, which are used worldwide; leading contributions to medical research and devices, including cancer treatments and the development of the PillCam; and impactful work in renewable energy, with pioneers in solar technology and solar-powered cooling systems. The country also provides significant humanitarian aid, contributes to environmental conservation, and has a notable impact on the arts and literature.

Technology & Innovation

Cybersecurity: Israel is a global leader in cybersecurity, with companies and technologies that protect critical infrastructure and data worldwide.

Software & Communication: Innovations like the instant messaging (ICQ) and the software behind mobile operating systems, such as Windows, have roots in Israeli research.

Navigation & Safety: The collision avoidance technology in driver-assistance systems (Mobileye) and the Waze navigation app were developed in Israel.

Hardware: Developments in microprocessors, like the Intel 8088, and the creation of the USB drive (Disk-on-Key) are Israeli contributions to computing.

Agriculture & Environment

Drip Irrigation: An efficient method for watering crops in arid regions, developed in Israel and now used globally to conserve water and improve yields.

Water Desalination & Recycling: Israel has advanced technologies for desalination and has the highest rate of wastewater recycling globally, offering solutions for water-scarce areas.

Agricultural Innovation: Israeli scientists developed the cherry tomato and introduced advanced irrigation techniques that have increased crop production worldwide.

Medicine & Health

Medical Devices: Innovative devices like the PillCam, which allows for non-invasive internal imaging, originated in Israel.

Pharmaceuticals & Research: Israel has made significant contributions to cancer treatment, with developments like DOXIL (CAELYX), and has produced Nobel laureates whose work on protein degradation is crucial for medical research.

Rehabilitation Technology: The ReWalk exoskeleton is an Israeli invention that allows people with spinal cord injuries to walk again.

Energy & Humanitarian Aid

Renewable Energy: Israel is at the forefront of solar energy research and development, with advancements in solar power efficiency and the creation of solar-powered cooling paints.

Desalination Technology: Technologies that extract water from air to provide fresh water in areas lacking access to clean water have been developed in Israel.

Humanitarian Assistance: Israeli rapid-response disaster relief teams, such as those from the IDF and IsraAID, have provided aid and support in countries affected by natural disasters worldwide.

More Christian’s have been murdered in Nigeria, than Palastinians have died in Gaza, simply because they are Christian, not because their government carried out an atrocity.

Why is nobody crying over that? Is it because it’s Christian’s dying or because the mass media don’t like it as a story?

As for the Jewish - Arab conflict, it’s almost as old as the landmass itself, so it’s no good blaming one side or the other. Both ‘governments’ are equally as culpable for this current genocide, and only blinkers stops anyone from seeing that.
