The counter view is that we're sleepwalking into the 1930s again with the rise of virulently nationalist politicians and borderline fascist behaviour by Trump and his minions and the trickledown effect of that on other countries. If Labour are displaying signs of authoritarianism (I agree they are up to a point although obviously not as strongly as you think), that's a knock-on effect from the trying-to-outflank-Farage idiocy they seem to keel falling into. | |||

I also don’t recall you having much time for pro Palestine protests in previous threads yourself. So what’s with the volte face? Did GB News tell you to do that too?
