I've reached that age that I'm beginning to have health issues. Some seem to be able to go on forever. I think I'll run this gold profile down then I think my time is up xxxx it's been fun

In a world of my own

It’s always a question of choice.

I’ve chosen after 48 years of working to leave my current employment of 42 years, next April, but doing so in no way will mean me ‘giving up’, time will be devoted both to others and myself, I will not beholden to the pursuit of a weekly wage.

I’m am not going to living an extravagant life style, no urge to travel this god forsaken world, but live a full meaningful life, with the means I have in comfort.

So buddy.

Do you feel ready to leave full employment?

Ask yourself two questions based upon the word ‘enough’.

Firstly have you enough funds to retire and live on?

Secondly have you ‘had enough’ of work?

The rest is up to your choice and feelings.

Oh I retired from work years ago, I've had an amazing time in this scene and the swinging scene

Retirement from work was the best thing I ever did and I was lucky to afford to xx but its time to retire from the scene xxx

Morpeth

When colleagues asked me why I was retiring I said "if you've got enough, and had enough, its time to go" sick of preparing method statements, risk assessments, wiping others arses

Oh I heartily apologise for my misinterpretation of your post, I thought you meant retirement!
