Been on this site now on and off for number of years and same old story it was much better when I first joined than it is now.

Learned alot so here's my thoughts

Guys with new profiles 80% chance genuine 20% deleted by admin signing back in

Verification up to 3 months old 90% chance genuine will meet

3 to 6 months 50-50 chance genuine

Over 6 months timewaster fantastist no intention of meeting

Those over year why you still here !!

My view a verification states who you are what you like etc along with profile and more importantly you have actually met someone.

No verifications at all don't bother

Not everyone leave verifications - met 3 guys off here. Only one left a verification but is no longer here. Another I have seen a number of times, original profile deleted but back under a new profile.

I have a few people who I have had as FWB or occasional hookups.

Lockdown and Covid pandemic put a 2-3 hiatus. Very slow. I pop in and out occasionally especially if horns and available.

Since retiring from work I still hang around.

More than anything i tend to go by the content of the messages i receive.

Well thought out ones that show they have read my profile and explain what they want are a big plus with me.

Funnily enough the biggest warning sign is anyone sending messages and promptly disappearing offline.

I can never understand logging off immediately after trying to start a discussion. Sure life gets in the way but why the need to log off ?

i have always thought to help prove guys are genuine and will meet that a guys last 3 verification should automatically be displayed by the site,, this would stop guys being verified from using a webcam veri from many months ago and hide behind it as a active player

I find there's a lot of spam profiles on this app. Same as the reasons you cite - I find they're less than an hour on the site and never log back in. There's often rhe generic text of "I'm a gay man looking to meet gay men...".

Locally too, of all the towns and villages around me the locations are all the same. The big names you'd find on a map.

Just because people haven't had any recent verifications doesn't mean they are genuine or not. There are other sites that people get their meets from. Lately I've have more meets via Gr than here.
