Interesting topic! It depends on situations, context, etc. From the very crude 'hold your bulge' to a fleeting faint smile or a sweeping head to toes appreciative gaze or extremely close, tight and prolongued hugs; however, it also works in other mysterious ways: i had never exchanged anything other than civil, inocuous exchanges with my [now] fwb until one day, four years ago now, he sat down at my café table to ask me directly, after the usual civilities, if I'd be interested, being gay, in guiding him, through his 'curiousity' about homosexual practices
