Anyone else watching?

I'm not usually a fan of Reality TV but have quite enjoyed the previous non-celebrity series' of Traitors. The celebrity version has a surprisingly large number of genuinely well-known, entertaining characters. There's only one who I didn't previously know.

Imagine being blown by a traitor on their knees - hood covering their face.... would it be Alan Carr? Would it be Charlotte Church (she'll be recruited later), or maybe even a twist and it turns out to be Claudia or Jonathan Ross..

Their fees come to a total of £760,000 which wouldn't pay for one episode of a high end drama.

How many high end dramas get the viewing figures of The Traitors? Not many.

I laughed out loud when Alan Carr told Tom Daley "You can't just call someone a Traitor because they have a better vocabulary than you!"

Are Tom and Charlotte the new best friends we didn't know we needed? They could be a great duo.

Would prefer the Traitors to be more evil. As celebrities and they all know each other its a bit annoying when they keep saying how much they love each other and how upset they are over murdering people. It's very early days, only one has been evicted. With the normal Traitors, contestants are unknown to the general public and therefore don't have an image or persona to protect.

With the celebrity version I expect things will work slightly differently, with less nastiness, because they understand how easy it is for social media to twist things, and show them in a different light. We'll get more comedy than usual though.

Another thing I enjoy about Traitors, either version, is that it doesn't celebrate stupidity or aim for the lowest common denominator, unlike most other Reality TV productions.

If something like that makes your day there isn't much else going on. In any case I can sometimes remember otherwise long-forgotten posts, and it takes seconds to dig them out

Rather than repeat your admiration for her though, you've just taken an opportunity to have a dig. It's a well known trait of yours, this disruptiveness and desire to bring down what should be a non-controversial discussion, time after time.

Ironic then how you also spoke of her positivity in another old post, yet never mentioned this time - 'I like her. She radiates positivity. Underestimated by many because of her goofiness but theres a sharp mind there.'

Love how the faithfuls are convinced a certain person is a traitor, just because of a look, or something so small, they feel they are so right.

We love how wrong they are. Can't wait for them to finally find a traitor, their reaction will be good to see. Want them to find Jonathan first.

Jonathan seems the more likely of the three to go first, however people are starting to look at Joe Marler a little now, and Stephen Fry is probably about 50/50 with Jonathan.

I’ve got a feeling they might get another traitor tonight. Looks like Alan might be getting a bit more attention.

I agree - place your bets now! Much as I love him, I disagree with earlier posters that he's been brilliant. I think Other players have noticed that he seems to be more confident, even cocky. He's also not great under pressure got a little flustered when Celia quizzed him last episode (forgetting to accuse her back) and he was all over the place at the round table.

What fun it is watching the Gladiators safe in the audience, lol!

It’s the first time I’ve watched it.. I had it down as just more reality garbage but I’ve been proven wrong. It’s very clever and entertaining , i knew Jonathan would go last night and suspect Allan might be next but cat is staying well under the radar 👍

I understand what you're getting at, but Alan's natural persona is quite scatty anyway. I think we could be in for a surprise, and that Celia could be in danger if anyone drills down on her.

Alan' scatty act has certainly protected him so far, but I think it crumbles quickly under pressure!

But Yes, I agree about Celia, insofar as - objectively- it's quite weird how she's escaped scrutiny thus far (has she even ever been nominated?). I mean, that whole "Darlings, you're all wonderful!" thing is potentially a great facade. Maybe it's some sort of latent respect for an older Mother figure? (Lol!)

Those who didn't already know have certainly found out why actors are known as 'luvvies'. Celia isn't the only one, is there anyone she doesn't 'adore'?

I think it's hilarious they way they are all talking about the traitors doing this and that and sharing theories, yet they are surrounded by them

Great seeing thier reactions on Uncloaked when they find out who the traitors are lol

Yes Indeed! Though someone in 'the Biz' once told me one additional reason veteran actors call everyone 'Darling' or 'Love' is that if you work with a changing cast of fellow workers week in-week out for years it is sometimes hard to remember all their names!

Fascinating how the Traitors began casually to brief against each other, then a bit more so, before going for the jugular at the round table. All that plus the rickety bridge task made a great episode.

Jonathan's exit was classic and I suspect another will go tonight. Alan is riding his luck. But only he could get away with the public murders because of his persona. This is the only time I've really watched him in something, and he has quite the sense of humour which is quite appealing

I think they are on to the traitors now….i think Cats biggest mistake was not killing Nick when she had the chance instead of Lucy.

Now that Kates gone as well I think the 3 guys all suspect Cat & Alan.

Totally agree….when it was first mentioned I was a bit sceptical and didn’t think it would work with celebs but they have really played the game and been very good at round tables and tasks.

He has, yes. Joe and Nick both seem to have a genuine alliance and have already talked about splitting the prize if they win, which is what I think will happen. Alan and Cat are in their sights, and David has only got this far by the skin of his teeth.

If Joe & Nick can get David onside then the traitors are toast.

David is the key I think. Only way Cat or Alan can survive is if they stick together and get David to vote with them.
